Lamiaceae Salvia Elegens

This annual has been such a pleasant surprise for me .. Pineapple Sage .. just by chance I picked two up .. again with my two is safer theory .. I had thought of putting them in balcony planters .. being an herb that is convenient .. then I read more on the net and saw how big they can get .. so into the borders they went .. this one is much bigger than it's twin fighting for space in the other sun bed. They haven't put out those amazing red flowers yet .. but .. I can solemnly swear that the DO smell like PINEAPPLE ! It is unbelievable !
