A Patch of Promise !

The last few weeks of late summer I went on a mad tear filling in "gaps" in the garden with White Swan and Magnus echinacea plus Goldstrum rudbeckia .. old standards but with I have come to appreciate them again in respect of their attributes .. even to the point of how fragrant White Swan is while sitting shotgun in my plant mobile .. some how I forgot these lovely plants in the fray of new cultivars dancing in my head .. that being said .. this looks a little scrawny but full of promise patch for next year .. one of the Magnus rallied to bloom for me in the heat and dry conditions that still have a hold in our area .
