Sophie the Wonder Cat should at least get a treat for every comment.

I see we share the same weather. I could have sworn you snuck into my yard to take that lantern photo. Cold for sure when the snow makes crunching noises when you walk on it.

The "gateway" to the 1000 Islands isn't that far from here. I'll have to add you to my blogroll. Someone this close will help keep me honest.

Gardenjo4me,

My cat sees the camera and immediatly gets out of what ever cute pose he was in and runs away. Too smart for me.

I just had to share with someone who lives with real snow and ice conditions that during last nights weather cast....they announced that winter was back and we were going to have a possible serious cold front move in. I thought I was going to have to go outside and pick all my daffs in the dark. The low tonight shall be 28 degrees (Fahrenheit)! My daffs are spared.

Great snow shot, you can see it sparkle.

That is a beautiful cat. Is she helping you handling all the snow?

Sophie is beautiful! That's a cool breed combo...I especially like the tufts on her ears. Is she vocal like a siamese cat?

Hi Gail .. yup .. this winter seems to be the LONGEST one in so many years .. I'm so sick of it all but if I can catch some sparklies at least that is a plus ? I can't get over how we have the same combo of clay and limestone ! LOL .. I can't remember what a daff looks like in real life anymore .. BIG sigh !

Hey aunt debbie .. that story about the "pot plant" way too funny ! .. You might see more patrol cars than your fair share in your neighborhood ? LOL

Hi again Lisa .. funny enough I thought Sophie and her siblings were a one of a kind .. but since I'm on Catster too I have seen more than 6 or 7 now, and they are amazing .. she can be VERY vocal when I'm not paying enough attention .. especially in the morning for breakfast ? LOL

I think a good portion of North America has that big hunk of limestone underneath their soil...I think it's called precambrian rock. Makes me think of a kids tv show.

We do have very early springs and occasionally a late frost but then we drape our emerging plants with old sheets to protect them at night...we gardeners are a funny group.
