Bright ShinyTwirly Thing !

Well .. yes, I did fit one more shopping for the garden trip in and found this bright shiny metal twirly thingy .. copper I think .. oxidized for a bit of colour before I even have it exposed to age nicely .. it is one of those optical illusion shapes .. I have always wanted one .. but not the plastic type .. so when I stumbled on this one (stumbled without breaking anything this time .. phew !) .. I snapped it up .. I'm actually saying I bought it for hubby .. because he has always WANTED one too !
Just a post note .. I went back to Home Sense and bought another one of those fabulous obelisks in the next smaller size .. which is still one heck of a good size for a nice climbing vine .. a clematis is going to get one of these babies !

Last year I bought a metal alligator. At least I think that's what it's supposed to be. I figure, you can always lose plants for all sorts of reasons. But one of these babies stays for life. Hard to destroy them. I'm sure hubby will love it.

Very nice. I love the way copper ages.

Brenda .. what are you doing playing with alligators ? LOL
I figure garden art is a life long choice for the garden so adding a few unusual pieces perks it up and truly ! .. I bought it for hubby ! LOL

Linys .. I can't wait to see how it will age with the elements !

Love that copper twirler. Don't care for the plastic ones, though. Do you have other copper things in your garden?

I love the copper twirly that you got on your shopping trip today. I have a similar one that I hang outside the kitchen window. They are fascinating to watch.

Hi Crafty
They are almost hypnotic to watch aren't they ? ..I'm glad I waited to get this copper one .. it should look wonderful with a bit of aging !

Debbie ... I'm laughing over the cement worm ! COOL !
I don't know which one of the clematis I will do with it .. maybe pick a new one to start fresh ? .. good excuse to get another one ... right ? LOL

Hi Sandy .. I would love more copper in the garden .. I saw the most beautiful detailed bird bath a year ago in copper .. I should have gotten it .. but for now this will start the year off in copper !

Good choices - curly metal thing, obelisks and plants for them. Have a great weekend!

Hi VP
I think I am done wit the non-plant buying thing now .. I better start trying to get into actual "work" mode so when the icebergs melt I'll be ready ? LOL
Have a great weekend too !

Joy, I have had a twirly "thing" for years now, leave it outside all year round. It is metal, painted a lovely shade of greeny-blue and a butterly hangs inside it. The twirly goes in one direction and the butterfly goes in the other direction. It fascinates me and I'm sure your new toy will do the same for you.

Hi Gail
We are supposed to have rain today .. but clear up again. The rain would at least wash the levels of snow down .. sigh !
I'm looking forward to my twirly to entertain me !

Hi Rose
Did you ever send a picture of that one ? .. your descrition sounds familar .. funny how relaxing watching it can be !
