Scilla of shade and light

Light and shade makes such a difference in how these little beauties look. They are still pretty in the shade, but rather subdued .. when lit up by the morning sun .. they almost sparkel ! Surviving me in spite of not such great care taken with them .. cute little stars in my garden.

I've been perusing your past few posts with all the things blooming in your yard. I'm sooooo jealous. They are all beautiful and I enjoyed looking at them.

Hi Deb ! I try to take morning pictures with the light being much softer then .. god knows I have my PJ's on early evening .. can't quite bring myself to get out there then ? LOL

Hi Nancy : )
They are an amazing blue aren't they ? .. reminds me of the elusive blue poppy colour too !

Giddy ! ... you must have some blooming in your corner of Eden ? .. we jumped BANG right into summer weather here .. it is actually HOT (perhaps my being older makes it seem that way ? LOL) .. but yes .. everything just POPS with this heat .. finally !!

I love them! I got some pass-a-long scilla this spring. I hope they like it here and colonize their pretty little selves! I've never met a blue flower I didn't like.

garden girl .. isn't that the way ? .. blue flowers just SHINE in the garden .. they are so pretty. I'm never going to get that Blue Poppy to stay so these are a comfort to me ! LOL
