Appleblossom Mom Day

Yesterday was a nice Mother's Day .. I was feeling under the weather but managed to creep out into the garden at 6 AM (before anyone could catch me in scary mode taking pictures) .. apple blossoms were out and only child son brought home garden goodies all wrapped up in pink and "apple green" ribbons tissue paper and pretty bag. The picture doesn't do the glass globe justice .. it radiates what ever colour it is against .. hubby said like one fantastic marble (the kind we used to play with as kids .. are they all extinct now ?) In any case .. I was tickled PINK ! .. Hubby brought home a wonderful naughty "loaded with the works" pizza for dinner .. BIG sigh !

Aren't aple blossoms special?
Sounds like you had a great Mother's Day and as for that pizza, that might just be what I'm heading for for supper tonight!

I'm looking forward to seeing more of your garden, as I read your blog description and "about me" I totally understand we keep squeezing in more and more! Some people buy movies for their collections but we buy PLANTS!!! LOL

Hope you are feeling better today. That is a lovely gift and perfect for your garden. Pretty apple blossoms. Haven't seen an update on Sophie and Emma .. how are they doing?

Hi Joy, what beautiful apple blossoms. That pizza sounds delicious! Hope you are feeling better, I'm not sure if I'm fighting the pollen around here or getting a scratchy throat. Drinking lots of airborne just in case, it works wonders if I think I'm getting a cold.

melanie .. you are so right about the pollen .. we are feeling it here too .. but then there are a few viruses on the go too. What is airborne ? .. is it like Echinacea ? the herbal remedy I mean (not the flower ? haha) .. that and ColdFX our Canadian supercharged fix to ward off viruses.

Hi Crafty .. the girls are fine .. Emma growing like a weed .. she gets her last booster tomorrow, and nails clipped .. tiny tiger on the go .. Sophie just takes it all and then smacks her down to keep her in line ? haha
Yes .. I really love garden gifts ! The pizza was great too .. haha

Hi Melissa .. it is the most uncontrollable ? urge ? I ever have all year .. well, ok .. maybe fudge squeezes in there too (at Xmas ? haha) I am a collector and can't pass up special, "I have just might room for ... ?" plants I come across .. BIG sigh ! : )

Jane Marie .. "just say YES!" to the pizza girl ! haha .. it was a nice day for being a mom : )

Nancy .. please don't worry about it .. I know what you mean about the busy part .. no rush at all .. just enoy the weather, hope it is nice there now ? and the orchards in the valley .. I remember them .. gorgeous !

Happy Belated Mother's Day!

Your photo of the Apple Blossoms is fantastic and even better when I clicked on it and it was giant sized.
Crisp and clear...wish we could have them here in C&L, but they get covered with rust from all the Cedar Trees hosting Apple Cedar Rust!

Have a good day in the garden.

Gail
