Little Things

I love the stone faces I bought a few years ago. I have a few of them scattered around the garden. Simple things sometimes are the most affective in making you stop and look .. and enjoy that very moment .. I find myself smiling a lot to myself in those moments. We all need times like those. Hi cat .. that is my "Freckles Violet" .. it has begun to grow outside my border now too .. I certainly don't mind that at all either : )

The little things in life are sometimes the best things, aren't they? I can see why you smile when you see those stone faces. And your white anemone is so pretty--purity and simplicity are two more ideas I associate with white.

I've enjoyed your stone faces in earlier photos, too, Joy. It's great that you can just tuck them under things so they can wait to be discovered. As for 'Freckles', I have just one and it's one of the highlights of my spring. Wish mine would multiply like yours!

'ben" .. would you believe I found those faces in a Dollar Store ? .. I absolutely loved them .. I have one in the house as well. They just seem perfect to tuck into places .. they have the *smile* affect on me .. LOL

Rose .. isn't that so true .. I think our minds become peaceful when they settle on white .. simple .. restfull. I have Henrii clematis to look forawrd to with big white flowers on that new arbor between the houses .. my favorite is a white rose .. and I don't have any .. I'll have to FIX that ! haha

I love that freckles violet. I have a gazillion violets in solid purple. They multiply like mad too. I'm thinking about making an area of wild flowers that are growing all over my yard in a memorial garden. It will be a ton of work though to move them, but I'd hate to have to keep mowing all those cuties over.

Cinj .. as you said that about mowing them over I thought I heard little screams from them going on .. but they are very tough , I bet that would just help them multiply ?
