What the girls saw ...

First I have to explain the poor dove was momentarily in love with our wind spinner for some reason. Second .. I was shooting its picture at the back of the kitchen through our old screen door (ugh !) to the deck. It just struck me funny how Sophie and Emma looked all hunched down spying on the dove ... Emma was asking Sophie "do you see WHAT I see ????"

I enjoyed the cool pictures of the secret lives of cats and doves. I stumbled upon this blog today and I noticed that you name a lot of flowers. I will check back often, because I am always seeing flowers and wondering what their name is. Sometimes when family or friends ask me about the name of a flower, I wish I could say, "Oh, that's a...."

You have 2 cute nature lovers. It looks like they are more interested in the fauna than flora.

Hi northern shade .. yup ! they are avid fauna watchers for sure .. wish I had gotten a better picture of the dove .. it was quite sweet how he loved the spinner.

Thanks Suzanne .. the girls can be very entertaining .. haha
That is what I ran into as well .. seeing so many plants and not knowing what they were .. so I wanted to make sure I have the names most times .. it helps !

This is too cute! And your Sophie looks very similar to my Simon (a female who passed away soon after we moved up here. Does she have an obnoxious meow?

Both of your girls are adorable!

They look like they're getting ready to pounce at the poor thing. Sneaky conspirators! Good thing the dove has that screen for some protection!

Cinj hi there ! .. I think the dove knows he is safe from the little terrors .. they can only pretend to be "cats" haha

Byrningbunny .. I'm so sorry about Simon .. it is strange how many people on here have a similar type cat. We thought she is a one of' ? No .. she has a very quiet meow .. compared to her size .. it is funny ! Emma is very quiet too(sound wise) .. energy wise .. sheesh ! haha

Thanks Cindee .. there is a golden moment during late Spring/early summer that the garden looks wonderful .. then we slip into that horrible intense heat/humidity weather and all hell breaks loose ? LOL

Hey 'ben" .. funny we didn't see the white tip until a few days later when we first had her .. I think Simon is a great name for cats : )
