In Love with the "Ghost"

I know .. I am very naughty fishing you in like this .. but hey .. the 'Ghost' deserves a little attention .. even applause ? If you are a fern lover you must already know of this amazing one. My first year the poor dear got a bit sun burnt .. this raised bed is morning light afternoon shade. I was hoping to combine the best of both worlds for its colour yet upright habit as well. When Ghost stands up .. it really stands up ! and out .. and is one gorgeous fern I always want in my garden.

Cindee .. it is well worth hunting down .. I really like this one even though it isn't colourful as some .. it strikes me as a calm .. soothing spot in the garden.

it's a pretty little thing...and would certainly light up some of my greener spots. Hi!

Wonderful ferns. I have been away for a while and I have almost missed on your garden exploding with magic. It's stunning wherever you look, beautiful Hostas, the handsome Jack Frost, I just couldn't get enough of all those intense and subtle color combinations, it's just a true piece of art. It inspires me into reviving my neglected shady parts of the back garden. But then I stumble into an army of voracious slugs and spend the rest of my time raging around like a serial killer. (or should I say Violent Violet). It's been raining for a week now and I'm completely desperate on what to do with this invasion. Need I mention my Lupins didn't get the chance to bloom again. And my hostas are as perforated as ...Swiss cheese. Blimey! LOL

Greetings to the lovely little or should I say big, all grown-up girls Kit& Kaboodle! And one extraordinary gardener.

I can see why you love this fern so--it's gorgeous! I really like the lighter colored ferns best, I think. Your garden looks so lush right now.
I'm cranking up the AC, too; whatever happened to spring??

I have this frn in my shade garden but it doesn't look as good as yours! Your entire garden bed is very charming, it must bring you joy.

Thank you Sheila !
Right now it is behaving .. but it can turn on a dime to a sad looking spot if I don't pay attention to what is going on. It is a favorite spot for me though : )

Rose .. I ask the same question EVERY year now .. hardly any Spring and Autumn (my favorite time of year) isn't like it used to be at all .. I'm so thankful for AC it isn't funny ! LOL

Violet .. serial killer of slugs ! LOL .. hey .. I have been lucky for a while .. I'm sure they have me on their hit list, so I try not to swoon ? when I see evidence of a menu formulating .. they are a huge pain aren't they ? I used to avoid plants like this because of them .. but now I try things out and cross my fingers .. haha
Emma was beyond hyper last night .. sheets of rain and thunder clashing .. she was bouncing off the walls and Sophie.
It is like having a hyper active child with claws ? haha
Sophie just takes it all in stride, bless her. They thank you for the greeting ! : )

Hi Gail .. if you come across it .. try it out ? .. I think you will like it a lot ! : )

I like the ghost too. There's one with red in the center called 'Ursula's Red' also, and it's awesome!

Lisa .. I have Ursula's Red in the back shade garden .. along with Silver Falls and Metallica .. I went on a spree last year you could say ? LOL .. Once you start collecting them .. well you know what it is like : )
