Where is that name tag ??!!!
A new "baby" clematis and do you think I know where the heck I put that particular name tag from last year's bit of end of season binge buying ? .. Maybe I felt a twinge of guilt, and accidentally on purpose, disposed of some errant plant tags that for some reason, I was sure I would remember in this dried up sponge of a brain ? Jeez !!!!

Your Clematis is pretty but that jap painted fern is stunning. That fern would fry in my yard. I'm jealous.

Anna .. last year it did get a bit crisy .. even the morning sun was a bit much .. but as long as it has afternoon shade and kept watered (which I do lack that point at times .. yikes !) it will stay that beautiful muted shade and habit : )
