The Bench Warmers

My pictures seem to really suck lately .. I think I have been worn out and distracted with the raccoon adventure. Hopefully by the weekend the repairs will be done and I can claim my front garden again .. fix the poor trampled parts from the ladder and a bit of manly stomping that could not be avoided .. I'd rather be happy the Mrs. Raccoon and kids are gone and content some where else hopefully ... So that leaves me taking pictures of my 'bench warmers" on the deck here "Frog with the Golden Hair" "Snail Me Any Where" " Weather Gargoyle aka W.G." and "Green-man" from Roslyn Chapel Scotland friends picked him up while they toured the chapel .. its ties to the Da Vinci Code were just too interesting !In any case .. coming back to the point I haven't been taking worthwhile pictures .. I seem to rely on the old gang for a smirk or two when in a rut .. so there we are !

I love the arrangement of bench warmers and pots. I take plants I have growing in the garden and fill pots with cuttings from them too.

I like the benchwarmers! I've missed a couple days of reading blogs, but I think your photos are great. Love the Tennessee coneflower and the damselfly.

By the way, Mr. Raccoon became Mrs. and the kids??

I think your pictures are always lovely and it looks so peaceful and serene with all the flowers on and around the bench. Also, love all your little statue sitters. Cute!!!

Thanks Darlene .. I think I am in a rut .. the weather has been so hot and humid .. I haven't been able to work in the garden for almost a week .. scary JUNGLE mode out there ! Yikes !

Oh Rose .. you missed a lot of the soap opera with me .. when Mrs. FB got locked out by one way door and she had one more little one to get out .. I was a big TISSUE, crying because baby was crying for mom .. long story short door was opened and that night mom got baby .. what a blessed relief !

Gail .. I'll have to go have a look see over there then ! Thanks !

Crafty .. the garden is getting way ahead of me with this weather .. I keep hiding in the house from this heat and humidity : (

I love your Rosslyn gargoyle. I wonder what he's thinking - you ought to have a competition to get people to suggest what it might be.

Is that the seat you reserved for me and who do I sit next to?

Getting rid of that pest must be a relief. What a surprise ending to the saga. No one expected a mother and babies. No wonder she was so persistent.

Wiseacre .. you have to sit by W.G. because I think the two of you .. think alike ? LOL
YES .. finally finished with the racoon saga .. now for repairs to the front garden .. the ladder was a bit rough on the plants .. but I don't mind because we did have a happy ending to it all !

Sue .. that is a fun idea .. the faces from within the chapel were amazing .. the detail is out of this world .. it really makes you wonder that there has to be more of a point to it all other than decoration ?

Hi Cindee .. thank you so much ! .. I have a few pictures to post today if I ever get to them ? LOL .. Emma is doing pretty good right now .. especially since I bought her 2 new bags of plastic springs to play with .. she is one funny cat .. and amuses Sophie endlessly ! haha
