Gorgeous Joy! I'm still waiting for the coneflower buds to open here. I'm glad they bloom with so little sun, but it takes them much longer to bloom. Is the fourth photo a Joe Pye weed?

Hi there Garden Girl .. YES ! I have a big gorgeous Joe Pye ... and it has set flower heads .. now we just wait for them to bloom !
I pinched them back at different levels so they will look more interesting than one straight row of flowers ?

Thanks Cindee .. late summer and Autumn are my favorite times .. well, Autumn more so for cooler temps ? LOL

Love these photos! I think my coneflower just might flower this year after all. They're putting up some tall, thick stalks now from the base of the plants.

Thank you ! ..Yes .. Big Sky series "Sunrise" and I also have "Harvest Moon" .. we have had so much rain compared to other years things are in a bit of a mess .. drenched and falling down .. I didn't have enough plant supports some how .. I thought I have loads ! Yikes !
Yes .. I love my Karly ROSE girl ! haha

Hey Joy, Just stopped by to take a look at the flowers! They're so pretty, and really, they seem to have a personality all their own, don't they? Haven't bought our new ornamental grass yet - MUCH too hot to be in nurseries this weekend. Hopefully soon!
