Mooning you ..........

On some very extraordinary early mornings when I sneak out into my garden in total disarray (believe me .. too scary to even think of how I look !) .. I am totally lost in the quiet .. stillness .. my garden is only for me , we wrap around each other in such a way only other gardeners know that feeling .. we know each others faults and imperfections yet we merge with mutual love ? .. affection ? .. acceptance ? .. it is a garden "thing".
When I am VERY fortunate .. the moon is watching me take pictures of my plants .. almost smiling at me because it is part of my garden even though it is so far away. It fits .. it is part of the setting ..
I don't have a separate lense to capture it well .. but I don't think it minds that much. It glows just a little more for me in those moments I'm snapping away .. and I appreciate it : )
Thus one totally sappy post ... mooning you ? ^..^

You discribed the feeling of being in the garden during quiet moments perfectly. Great shots of the moon.

Oh, I love the moon photos! I know just what that feeling is. Feel it every time I go out and look about for any tiny newness that's sprouted up since my last garden visit!

They're beautiful photos and make me think of the peace and serenity that comes at that time of day. Thanks.

Hello kd .. I have been so lucky with feeling that serenity in a not so private garden .. but at that time of the morning .. it is heaven to me : )

Hii Joy, I can so relate to the feelings you describe. Our garden is pretty private, and I even come home from work most days for lunch in the garden. There's nothing like that break in a hectic day to just breathe and be. I go back to work rejuvenated after those quiet moments.

Your moon shots are absolutely gorgeous.

Great moon pics. I am too young for the unknown comedian but I did find a link to it on youtube!

Beautiful photos...That's what it's all about...you and the garden. I haven't worked in a garden in 10 years and I reaaaalllly, really miss it. I do spend a lot of time with indoor plants but I'd really like to get back outdoors. But we're house hunting as I write, and I should be in my own space by next summer! And I'll be somewhere near you since we're moving from here (Montreal) over to your beautiful Kingston. Can't wait... So there's hope that soon enough I'll be snapping pictures of the moon in the wee hours of the morning!

Enjoy your garden! Nothing compares to the peace and joy it can bring you.

Hello WR ! .. Wow ... that is a change in atmosphere leaving Montreal for Kingston .. but I think you will enjoy it! .. Housing has gone up quite a bit since we moved here from Holland in '99 .. but Kingston is spreading out and sort of counter balancing prices in certain areas.
Even though I would love more privacy .. at least I have my early morning breathing space : )
Thanks for stopping by !

OH yea!! I'm totally with you on this one. Me and my garden are one and they don't mind if I look like a mad woman as long as I feed them and talk to them.
