Emma in her Halloween Costume

OK .. we all know I am a Halloween NUT .. but this is sort of funny. Emma wanted to get in her Halloween costume yesterday evening .. so here she is just getting in it ... her tail is not in yet ...

Here she is completely in it .. amazing a cat can get into one of these right ? You can't tell it is her at all !
.... and this is Emma with sparkling eyes for her night shot .. Sophie didn't even recognize her !

Ohmigosh, however did you get her to climb into that? Our Toby refuses to wear clothes:) My daughters like to dress up their dogs for Halloween, though;I'll have to remember to post a picture of them in October.
Emma is too cute!

Cute. Speedy likes to dress up as a mouse. Okay, maybe it's the kids who like to dress her up as a mouse. That's only because she is constantly bringing the mouse ears upstairs, doesn't that mean she's asking to be dressed up?

Emma is so cute. I don't think Spike, our black Halloween cat would sit still long enough to get a costume on him. On the other hand, what better costume than his very own black fur and scary, golden eyes. He can have quite the malevolent look when necessary! Mice don't stand a chance in our house.

LOL...Oh how cute! It must be quite entertaining with those two furry clowns in the house! LOL...

And your Halloween decorations are really cool! You must be having a blast, especially now that the holiday is so close!

Cinj .. I lost your comment on the mouse ears headband thing .. Blogger is "haunted" or just scared of mouse ears ? LOL

Hi WR .. I haven't even cracked open the big storage case yet girl ! LOL .. I have to hold on for a bit yet before I can decorate the front step ; )

Giddy ... black cats have a "presence" all of their own I find .. they are such beauties and especially if jet black with gold or green eyes .. Spike sounds like one of those !

How on earth did you manage to get cats to let you put costumes on them? I would be bitten and attacked!

Brenda ... it is magic !! LOL

Perchance the "magic" of Emma in a costume is a bit of tromp l'oeil? As a "stage mother" to my furry gang of five, methinks me smells a little trickery. Any which way... clever & delightful! ~ Deb

Hi Deb .. honestly , Emma's has a HUGE ego and insists on being the star of the show if she sees my camera come out .. Sophie is just plain disgusted with her .. haha
