My Sumac's Golden Undies !

My gorgeous Sumac is beginning to change (it's underwear for now) .. Slowly but surely it is much cooler in the evening. The Burning Bush in the front is fast changing into that magnificent red/scarlet colour from the bottom up. Which seems to be the trend with my garden ?

It was a bit windy while I was snapping away .. and the colours don't seem to be as vivid as my eye sees them. But it is happening .. and the crisp air fans a little kid inside this adult ... AUTUMN is coming !

With a title like this, I just had to check out your post! My burning bushes are just beginning to show a hint of red. Today, though, is the first official day of fall, isn't it?

Sumac has some of the most interesting leaves and color in the fall, especially when the seed pods have formed. Love that sunny yellow!

I can't believe fall happened like clockwork, like nature knows what it's doing. The last two nights have actually been cold, and the leaves are starting to turn. This really is the best part of the year.

Fall is my favorite time of the year, but living in Florida I only get to see it in other bloggers gardens. I like your burning bush and your Halloween decorations. That reminds me I need to decorate my house this weekend (Is hard to get excited about Fall with 90 degree weather outside)

Hi Rusty .. I don't blame you for not being in much of an Autumn mood .. I would find it nearly impossible in that weather too ! Hope to get some great scarlet leaves in the next few weeks though !

Hi Megan .. it is deliciously cool to almost cold at night .. I love it, and the leaves will speed up the colour hits soon too !

"ben" ... the best is yet to come : )

Congrats on finding that first fall foliage. I've been on the hunt around here, as well... fairly muted stuff, so far... Deb

Deb .. this is just in my back garden .. I know there is some great stuff going on out further .. so it will call for a little trip in the "country" the elusive scarlet leaves are there !
