September and Sedums

September is definitely "sedum' time. I have a few different ones but the variegated and white one caught my attention this morning. The tiny flowers are so detailed it is amazing. They make me want to go buy more and squeeze them in the garden some how ... another obsession brewing !

I have one that will be pink-tinted like your white one. I have fallen in love with sedums this year!

I have a large, rocky slope behind the house and have put in lots of sedums, mostly pass along plants that friends have given me. I love the fact that you can just plop them in the ground and they thrive especially well in dry, hot conditions.

Sedums are miracle plants to me Giddy with the way they adapt to such bad conditions .. I look forward to seeing them "bloom" ? in September .. they are a bit of a backbone plant in a garden I think ! : )
