The Black after the Colour ....

Now for the "black" after the colour. I thought for sure we were in for a scary type storm .. but it all drifted away from us. Tonight we have been warned of icy rain and all the wonderful options that come with that freezing on the roads.
But forget that for the moment .. and look at the clouds again .. keep looking ... you never know what may be looking back at us ?

Clouds are so dreamy...and can invoke all kinds of emotions.
Didn't know they would be a popular subject for garden bloggers. Works for me !!
Great pics !!

Very cool photos! Unless we raise our eyes to the heavens, we'll never know who's peeking back at us!

I am officially trading you weather. We have 85 degree temps here...It is not Christmas time feeling at all! OMG we went shopping and wore capris and tshirts! I was roasting!!! So you can have the warm weather and I will take a tad bit of cold...to get me in the spirit!!! Otherwise I may need to go to the lake to swim and suntan...LOL(-:

Those sky photos look ominous. We are getting snow now and it is starting to stick around (it's about 6:30) Hopefully it will snow all night and the plows will get out and clear the roads for the morning so that I can drive to work safely.

It surely LOOKS as though you're going to get some snow! I Love the snow. I don't like slippery roads. I don't like shivery cold. But I really love watching the snow fall! (And I love the moisture it puts in the ground for next Spring!) :-)

That's how it looked here today; the wind blew like crazy, all wintery!

Beautiful clouds, Joy! We're getting the same icky weather right now...it's hailing at the moment. Ugh.

Nancy ... last night around the same time we got hail as well. This morning most of it has melted and we have rain again .. I would hate to be driving in the mix of things !

Nola .. with these ones it was odd not to have a lot of wind .. so they moved slowing across the sky .. I could help but take pictures of them ...

Hi Shady .. I love watching snow fall too .. and we got a lot last year which was so good for all the trees and plants .. we didn't have snow with these .. just a mix of rain and a bit of hail .. nothing on the ground but moisture in it ?

PG .. the sky can be very ominous and that can make you wonder what is going to happen NEXT !

Crafty .. if you are having the same weather as we are this morning, you should be safe .. the streets should be bare .. nothing stayed on the ground last night : )

Cindee .. you naughty girl ! flaunting that weather in front of me ? LOL .. once a Canuck starts the freezing process it can not be reversed .. we are like cranky polar bears .. in fact my code name is "Pink Polar Bear" : )
Careful not to get a sunburn girl ! haha

Joey ... wouldn't you love to see what is way beyond those clouds ? .. scary but curious right ?? LOL

Patsi .. the sky is such a huge influence on gardens .. well not so much for us until Spring .. but I still love looking and capturing the clouds .. we have some enormous ones here and they are fascinating !
Hey .. did you see the last episode of True Blood yet ?

I keep looking but the only thing I get for my troubles is soaking wet. It's raining here, again.
