Hi Joy, your moon man is cute, just a little rusty. People pay extra for that! HA

And here I am sweating in shorts and a t-shirt from working outside. I'm sorry he's sad. I've been out in the garden trimming away with my trimmers. Raking. Doing all the "mindless things while you meditate type gardening."

Aww..that poor Moonman shouldn't be so glum. Spring will be here before you know it. :)

I don't know....he is still smiling.....

Too bad winter has hardly begun :( I like winter until Christmas, and after that I am SO ready for spring!

He does look a little droopy:) All your photos are beautiful, Joy. The snow and ice create very artistic pictures, but I hope they don't visit me for awhile.

Cool moon. I think he looks pensive--or maybe slightly embarrassed for that ostentatious perigee moon. Can't wait to see him in his warmer element!

The official start of winter is still a few days away. You are so good to leave out some of your garden decorations over the winter. I put all mine away. Though I did leave Gary the Gargoyle outside this year, so I'll get some outside shots of him. He said if the bench warmers can stay outside so can he!

Gary !! Way to go my gargoyle guy !!! .. Yes .. I like to leave a few of them out .. but some by mistake , not getting them tucked away in the shed .. yikes !
Oh well .. they do make for some interesting pictures though : )

Cosmo .. I think you could be right about the pensive look .. and I'm sure he is counting days till Spring !

Rose .. it is so hard to tell what weather will hit us next .. all the ice and a lot of the snow disappeared with warmer temps and rain .. but back to the deep freeze for tomorrow !

Amy ... My thoughts exactly girl .. if it could only work that way ?? LOL

Darlene .. You are a "glass half full" type of gal aren't you ? .. I am too actually .. I never saw it as half empty .. haha

PG .. I don't know about that .. here in the "Great White North" it really does take .. FOREVER it seems !! : )

Brenda .. I just know you are trying to make me jealous girl .. but I know you have a lot to tidy up as well .. that court yard is going to look gorgeous !

Frances .. Yes they do don't they ? so that is why I leave the poor guy out .. too look more expensive ! haha

Karen .. Moonman thanks you very much girl .. I'm sure he will feel happier come garden season !

I love the moonman.

He does look a bit down--have you thought of facing him upwards a bit for winter? Maybe he'll cheer up if he's looking at the clouds (even grey ones).

The responsibility of tides, babies being born when he is full and romance are weighing on him...He is planning a snowball assault on the Benchwarmers to lift his spirits!

Maybe "pensive" ~ perhaps he's just meditating about the past season and steeling himself for winter, eh? It's a nice shot! /Deb

Deb .. I think you may be right about the pensive .. and steeling himself for the real winter season now ! Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrr !

Gail .. are you giving Moonman ideas ? shame on you girl ! .. but alas .. the Benchwarmers could use a shake up now and again ! haha

Cameron .. now that could be it ! I'll try and adjust him next time I'm back there : ) sky ward ho !

Your photos are fabulous Joy; winter is dreary but it does make for some nice pictures. It looks like you're dealing with the same type of weather. Maybe we've had a little more snow? Anyhow, today is unusually warm; went up to about 7 degrees or so, but it's raining. So it's wonderfully warm but cloudy and miserable. And tomorrow it will be sunny but very cold! Can't seem to catch a break anywhere :)

Your MoonMan is hanging his head but it looks like he's secretly smiling though. Perhaps he's hanging out with the benchwarmers while you're asleep, doing who knows what. They all look a little mischievous...LOL...

Hi Martha .. Thanks ! .. we are having the same weather .. warm and rainy today .. turning to clear but cold tomorrow.
Yes ! .. I think they party at night .. ALL of them from the Benchwarmers to the frog guys to moonman on and on .. I hear disco music at night in the back garden for sure ! haha

The moon was full the other night - much more cheerful than your moon man gazing at the snow on the dead brush. A seasonal metaphor for staying inside and keeping warm.

WS .. I would have to agree with you on that point .. especially for the next up coming days here ! Brrrr : )

Hi, Joy;
Moon man is darling. While it might not be a gardener's favorite time of year, I have enjoyed your snowy photos. Thanks for stopping by the other day.

PS: IMHO it's not possible to have too much chocolate... :))

Hi Kate . I figured it was not possible to have too much chocolate too girl ! haha
It is a rough time with weather back and forth especially here in Kingston .. the local "Twilight Zone" of weather : )
But I sneak in a few pictures when I can ? LOL
