Hi, Joy;
You sweetie! Thanks soooo much for the link! You were my inspiration -- I'm going to have to start shoppin' around for some of those lovely vintage cards.

Hi Frances .. You are welcome girl !
I am late getting to so many blogs it is ridiculous : (
But when I got to Kate's it was so fantastic I had to sit a few more minutes on my lap top and make sure other people had a chance to see her blog : )

Gail .. I feel I will be a let down for my big day .. there has been a lot going on here and I haven't gotten organized with the BIG day post .. I could never reach Kate's quality that was just too fabulous !!

Kate girl .. I truly mean it when I say YOU are my inspiration for a Halloween blog .. you have me taking notes for next year because I didn't really plan this year, not like you with this fantastic job. I had forgotten about Edward Gory (too many distractions going on in my life) BUT .. next year I am thinking of doing links with other Halloween nuts like us .. see ? I'm planning already girl ! LOL .. I have to say I had found more vintage cards this year than any other year so that was a bonus for me : )

My goodness dj ! you are so sweet !
Thank you so much : ) .. October truly is my most favorite time of year .. events did not go as planned with it being such a WET month .. I missed out on a lot of pictures and missions for Halloween that I planned.
BUT .. I am too happy if other people got a kick out of these cards ! : )

I've been catching up on blog reading very slowly the last two days, but had to be sure to come over to wish you a very Happy Halloween, Joy! Thanks for the link to Kate's post--it was positively spooky. I know what you mean about not getting things done as planned this fall--one minute the trees were in glorious fall color here, and before I could get my camera out, they had all lost their leaves!

Now, is that really a dead bat on your sidebar??

Hi, Joy!
OOH - Love that idea!!

I stopped by to deliver a quote someone just sent me...

"I'll bet living in a nudist colony takes all the fun out of Halloween." ~Author Unknown

Okay, I need to go catch Bad Dog, now. He is resisting his costume. Try not to eat all the candy tonight...

thx, again.

Rose girl .. I would never put a picture up of a dead anything (unless it was a teaching post on a plant ? LOL) This little guy was in shock from bumping into something on our deck .. we have no idea what happened but we left him alone and sure enough he came around ... a little stunned .. took refuge by one of my pots under a trowel (that was interesting to see) and then he left. It was the most curious thing we have ever seen !
I had to call him "Little Count" because I have never seen a bat this close and he seemed so vulnerable and needed some understanding and sympathy for his momentary plight ?
So rest assured .. NO dead animal pictures .. plants .. well that is a maybe ? LOL

Thank you so much Joey .. finding so many gorgeous cards on the net was so fun for me I was too happy to share !

Racquel I hope you had a fun Halloween girl !!

Kate girl I am STILL laughing at that one ! TOO funny !
Some one sent me a funny pictorial joke about why you shouldn't make your dog wear a costume .. it was a hoot .. if I can find it I'll send it to you ..
I really enjoyed your tribute to EG ! that made my day seeing your blog and how PERFECT it was .. now I have something to aspire to all next year girl !! Thank you too !
PS .. if my girls ever got wind that I would try to put them in a costume .. well, I would be in one of EG illustrations for SURE ! hahaha !

Thanks so much Janet girl .. it was a VERY weird day .. totally different .. I'll explain some time ! LOL

VP ... I'm going to hear that laugh all day now girl .. you did an exceptional job of it ? LOL
Now how many cider did you drink before you got over here ??? LOL
