So you have 'Autumn Brilliance,' Joy. Do you find it lives up to its billing -- does it get a better fall colour than other serviceberries?

So much is going on in your garden. I love the sisters tulips. The rotten scale killed my knot garden last summer. I have lots of work to do there. Our serviceberry tree is finished blooming. They are so sweet.

Thank you Rebecca girl .. every day the buds open a little more and make me smile big time : )

Thanks Kyna .. I am guilty of falling behind blog reading girl .. but I have been thinking of you : )

Cindee girl .. it has been ages since I was at your blog .. sorry ! The garden is pulling me completely in and I am so hoping for a rain day like crazy !!!!!

Helen .. it was hard to judge last year because things were crazy then .. and it was newly planted so I didn't pay full attention to it .. fingers crossed this year I can see what difference there may be and let yo know then .. but so far we love this little guy ! : )

Lisa I had no clue that crap was there on my shrub and I think I was way too late discovering it .. so the poor thing has to go .. another chore on the list .. that must have been a blow loosing the knot garden to that crap .. UGH !!! I have been so impressed with this simple tulips .. i can't even begin to say how much ! I'm so glad I did this circle garden : ) My serviceberry is beautiful and I am very happy with it !

Thanks Ben .. it is a wonderful cultivar of the serviceberry trees .. I have been so tired this is all I can do .. one picture at a time ! LOL

Beautiful, Joy! I've been admiring serviceberries for awhile now and wondering where I could put one. This one looks like a great choice.

I am so glad you are out in the garden playing! Better then being in the attic screaming...

Thanks Rose girl ! I did quite a bit of research on serviceberry trees in general but zoned in on Autumn Brilliance specifically for that show of colours bred into it .. I look forward to every Autumn as it is but wow ! this is great : )

Hello Tatanya girl .. they can be shrub form or standard tree form very versatile plants indeed : )

Thanks Nancy girl .. I have been so tired that I can't seem to post more than one picture and a line or two .. the back is screaming at me ? and yet I still go nuts in the garden ? LOL

Skeeter ... girl you crack me up every time you come here .. you are so BAD ! Hey .. I keep LOOKING at the roof .. all the nooks and crannies .. any noise at night my hair stands on end ... just my usual self now ? hahaha
