Part Two = Garden gems

I know ... I know .. ENOUGH with the Spring bulb pictures !!! ...
Sorry .. I just can't help myself since we are a bit slower to see these beauties ?
It is awesome to see them open and close like this .. not only for night and day .. but because the rain drops hit them .. they are very sensitive little creatures ?
I will always be in love with scilla or squill ? I guess it all depends on which word you like the most .. but what ever it is .. they are gorgeous little flowers in Spring to look forward to !
Daffs are my favorite though .. maybe because the squirrels totally leave them alone and I don't have to stress over them ? ..
I liked how this came out with the rough rust texture and that almost sparkling yellow counter part : )
The seem to love my garden stake ?
Yes .. countless pictures of my babies .. Royal Heritage has been amazing .. thank you Chris from Canning Perennials, a great Canadian mail order plant house : )
She is just too beautiful right ?
My day lily rows in the "shared space" area .. they thrive there .. even after splitting a lot for Martha of Water Roots they don't look any different .. what garden gems they are !
Green Panda bamboo .. second year .. a but crispy on the edges but definitely hanging in .
I bought two clumps that year just to be sure ? They other clump is in the back with my meditation Buddah : )
A little garden jewelery .. Pinot Gris heuchera in the back ground showing off some lovely colours already ! What a trooper !
Golden barberry .. colour and texture are great contrasts with the front garden plants .. especially the heuchera : )
Yes .. tulips again because of the afternoon light being so gorgeous , kissing them for the evening to come .. soft and lovingly ?

I never tire of seeing tulips and other spring ephemerals. Especially because they are just that. Ephemeral. Do enjoy them and post as often as you wish. I hope you have a great weekend.

Beautiful post Joy, no such thing as tiring of seeing people's spring blooms. Your tulips are especially exquisite! :)

Oh my, Joy, how lovely! Keep 'em coming. You can't get enough of this type of eye candy. Your garden must be coming to life now! That is exciting, no doubt!

I like the color of the Hellebore on the top right..
And the sun light you capture on the lovely squills look very nice.

I think the green panda Bamboo is the perfect choice for a Meditating Buddha..It adds serenity"...

Very...Nice!

Hi Joy, I think we northern gardeners should get to show off our spring blooms, too -- even if those who garden in more temperate climes have already been bragging about them for weeks. I never get tired of tulips and squill. -Jean

Yes, they sure are gems. I love them all. Of course I am partial to hellebores right now. I'm just glad it's spring!

Thanks Lisa .. I know this all started so early with southern gardeners but we are just in the thick of them now and we are all mushy about them ? LOL .. and yes ! you are so right .. they are fleeting at best so I want to enjoy them totally : )

Hello Rebecca girl : ) These and the Red Riding Hood are the only tulips I do .. lack of space and proper light .. but I do love them and they are so easy : )Thanks girl !

Martha it is amazing this year how fast things are jumping forward .. even your little plantings are doing so well too ! I hope everything "took" so far .. some may have transplant shock but they will get over it !
You will have lots of eye candy too next year girl ! ;-)

Hello Vetsy girl and thank you !
I have the Japanese forest grass with the bamboo at the corner where my meditation Buddha is .. one of my favorites : )
I have more hellebore coming .. it is a terrible addiction ;-) LOL

Jean girl thank you ! Yes we are in a slower time zone ? for these beauties and just now getting up to speed with them .. I have this different planting this year and I am fascinated by it .. so the pictures keep coming ! : )

It's always nice to see the bulbs as they rise! Pinot Gris looks pretty cool. I just added Midnight Rose - I bet you would like it!

I never get tired of looking at Spring flowers, Joy, and those tulips are just gorgeous. All your flowers are beautiful. It's raining here and that's the forecast for the next few days. We do need the rain, but I bit of sun would be nice, too!

Nancy girl thank you ! Too bad we can't push a button for how much sun and rain we want ? LOL
It has been raining on and off here as well .. and we can use it .. but hoping for some sun like you so I can go out and get more things accomplished !

Now Joy, there is no such thing as too many spring bulb pictures! Nor is it possible to take too many hellebore photos. They are just too pretty not to share!
