Shadow Shot Sunday !! Late OOPS!

These shadows are cast by my trees and larger perennials .. the beautiful grass in front of the variegated Solomon's Seal is Northern Lights Grass which will look amazing in the Autumn as will so many of my garden plants .. I'm not rushing the season but I'm famous or infamous for LOVING the Fall and Halloween .. hehehehe
I hate being late with my favorite meme !
My apologies Tracy because we are in such different time zones I do this usually on time and on a Saturday .. this weekend slipped away from me badly : (
I spent the day from 5 AM (yes .. I get up at that time) to 4 PM mainly with garden activity .. scanning the garden centers and then WORKING like a demon in my back and side garden .. I am one huge throbbing body ache today and had to go back to bed .. I am so grateful I can do that .. phew !
Never the less this is Shadow Shot Sunday hosted by the great and never late Tracy from Hey Harriet : ) follow all the great shadow chasers on her blog !!

It's okay to be fashionably late, I'm frequently that way. What a hot and humid day we are having and I only managed some garden time this morning. Then I had to have my siesta! I'm on vacation now and look forward to some trips to Homesense.

Beautiful picture Joy, your shadow shots are always lovely. I really like the new header (not sure how new it is, but I just noticed it lol), your garden is looking wonderful and the round beds turned out so very well!

Wow! That was a full-on day of gardening that you had! My body would be aching too! Your shadow shot is gorgeous! Don't worry about being late. You weren't late anyway. You made it in plenty of time. With hours to spare even! I hope your aches and pains have eased off and you have a super week ahead!

Oh and happy belated Canada Day for earlier in the week :)

Thank you Helen : ) .. I looked at the weather report this morning and it is going to be one HOT week .. I'll have to do my gardening way early in the morning so I can escape that rotten stuff ! LOL

Rebecca girl : ) Thanks girl ! ... husband carved out those circle beds for me so he has to take the credit on that ? LOL .. but I was so surprised all of the bulbs were so great and actually in place when they came up .. so I'll take the credit for that one ? wink wink

Hello "just Jody" and thank you : )

Thank you Beverley : ) but now comes the "bad time" blistering temps and no rain so I have to drag that hose around early in the morning and hide from the heat the rest of the day ! haha

Hey there Tracy girl ! Thank you : ) .. yup, it can get a bit achy after a day like that but it is so satisfying to see the garden happy for a day or two and then it starts all over again ? hahaha
