Sitting Setting Finally Finished !!

I want to add .. that no life forms as I might know of .. were harmed in the making of my "sitting setting" .. and that the real beauty is of nature .. not my bench .. as much as I love it .. right ?
wink wink ? .. great picture of this little butterfly creature admiring my work ? ;-)
Morning and afternoon pictures combined .. the lighting is a huge factor .. shade is a wonderful option too .. phew !!

OK .. I know .. will you finally STOP talking about your BENCH now !!!! wink wink : ) .. OK .. I will be laid up with one heck of an aching back now so you will all get a break from my bench .. pressing ?? hehehe

Just think how many bollies might be consumed while sitting on the setting bench! A lovely piece of tranquility where you and hubby migt enjoy the 'joys' of the garden for years to come! Love love love the Miscanthus 'Morning Light!'

You are so funny. I am so glad that your beautiful garden bench has brought you so much joy. I wish I could come there, sit with you and sip a cup of tea. Perhaps Winthrop would like to sit a spellnear the bench.

Hello JayLeigh and thank you !
I'm a very happy "benched" gardener : )

Pats SWEETIE ! when we hit the "jackpot" I have to insist that we have that bolly for old time sake while sitting on my bench ? wink wink ! .. I am a "grass-girl" and I am loving how these two beauties shine here .. fingers crossed they remain happy and grow LARGE ! LOL

Lisa girl : ) Thank you !
Wouldn't that be wonderful ? I am going to have to imagine a lot of my garden-friends from the cyber world dropping by for a visit (even if the neighbors think I am loony tunes ? haha) .. you have given me the idea to do some special shots with the "boy's in the hood" and Winthrop ! : )

Love your new bench, Joy! That will be a great place to sit and rest your back for awhile and enjoy your garden. The Miscanthus adds just the right touch...hmmm, there's a sale on grasses at a local garden center today...gotta run...

So beautiful Joy!! The only problem I see is that you now need something opposite to it so it can be admired lol!! Just checked your sidebar, how do you keep your twist n shout so blue?

I like your set for your sitting.. It's so cute.

Everything is arranged and working in perfect harmony.. I may have stated it before.. But I think the plant choices are fantastic for the back drop of the bench...

Lovely job...

Carrie girl : ) thank you so much !
I'm like those grandparents that want to talk about their grand-kids all the time only it is my BENCH I want to talk about all the time and bring the pictures out ? LOL

Rose girl I hope you found some lovely grasses at that sale .. I expect to see them too in wonderful garden shots that you will be taking with them included ? LOL .. did I encourage you enough ?

Rebecca girl thank you : ) .. well we can look at our cute shed and look at the deck with potted plants .. admire the other end of the garden .. we have a few "vistas" ? haha
Twist and Shout has shocked me .. I have not added any of the usual acidic or neutralizing ingrediants to force a certain colour .. it is doing it on its own .. maybe next year it might be pink ? LOL

Debbie girl hello there ! and thank you : ) Hope all is well at your end of the world !!

Hello there Vetsy ! .. thank you so much : ) I have dreamed about this very simple but effective setting for years .. now I have it, so I LOVE it : )and I appreciate that other gardeners like you enjoy it too ! : )

This is indeed a fine looking bench. I'm glad you liked my Mexican Bench story. Just something that made a connection that I felt compelled to tell you about, a bench story for a bench story.
Hope your back mends quickly. Loks like that garden gets regular care and tending, it is a beautiful place.

Peace.

Spadoman : ) Thank you !
I loved that story .. and benches in the garden or else where, connect with each other .. a bench is not just a bench ? it does say something about the owner .. a quest for a peaceful time out ? and many other threads of our feelings ;-)
My garden impacts my life tremendously as do my sky pictures .. which get me through our long cold winter ! LOL
I appreciated your connecting me with that amazing bench and wonderful story of that south west country : )
I am desperately hoping and resting to cure this cranky disc exploding (LOL) back of mine so I can truly connect with my garden again .. thank you for your "connections"
BIG *SMILE*
