One Extreme to Another

I am not going to say much about this post other than it was a rare EVENTFUL day ..
It started with a bit of rain and "thunder CLAP" then moved on to so many stages I can't even begin to explain .. so look at the pictures .. click on the ones that look amazing or totally WEIRD?
This very one below blew my mind because you can see the cloud in some areas is a "veil" through which the blue of the sky almost glows through !
I point my camera straight up in the air to get the sky overhead
Halloween sky or what? .. almost like a tornado could form ?

From my deck ...
Awesome contrasts with stormy to clearer skies ..
Again you see I am shooting from my deck !
I had to throw a plant in .. I love this one especially : ) rain drops like jewels ?
During a rare clear moment with Winthrop ?
There was an actual double rainbow at one moment but it disappeared so quickly, frustrated me badly !
Cool eh ??
Ginormous !! solid, PUFFY , pure white clouds against blue blue sky .. one of my most favorite scenes : )

I wish I could bounce on those clouds ... they were PERFECT : )

We had just a bit of that look to your sky, but it didn't end the way your day did. Great shots, and that rainbow is most unusual.

Wowzer~You have the best view of the sky from your deck~You know I have sky envy...I think about taking down half the tees in the way back, just to get more sunshine, but I am pretty sure my neighbor might not let me take down theirs! LOL! gail

What a sky transformation. Good capture too. Your little deck friend is cute. I also like taking photos of plants with the raindrops. Makes everything seem fresh and new.

Ominous clouds in the first few photos, and lovely capture of the rainbow. Looks like we are in for rain today (Thursday). The mornings are feeling very Fall like. I"ve been remiss in blogging about my garden lately, just can't get into it. Guess I need a break.

Those last white puffy cloud and blue sky pics are for me! The Spooky pics are for me too as long as I am seeing them through someone else’s eyes. They would be a bit nerve racking for me to see them in person. Yikes, that is a scary scenario girl…

Linda I understand how you feel right now with trying to blog about our gardens .. I have missed a month and a half because of my injury and I feel disconnected from it which makes me crazy .. so perhaps during the next few days when the weather is nicer I might get a little more garden spirit flowing ? LOL
Yes .. this rain is making me sleepy!

Skeeter you should have been here when the thunder claps were happening then the weird sky kept changing .. and I swear I heard an evil scientist laughing in the back ground some where !eeeeekkk!
I do love those full puffy white clouds against the blue sky .. reminds me of marshmallows ?Yum !!
