The Many Moons of Last Night ....

It all started out with me in a panic trying to capture the moon ... an impossible task for me without a decent tripod but I had to try , didn't I ?
Thus the art of "play" with my moon shots but with a bare bones one encased in reality first !

Hello there meems ! ... and it was amazing last night as well but shrouded by mists and cloud .. very Halloweeny : )

Gail girl so do I .. especially one with a bit of colour like it was last night. I couldn't get a picture of it .. I have to figure this out before it drives me nuts ! LOL

Grace girl it was an almost perfect night last night .. but of course I couldn't get the "perfect" shot .. darn it allllllll !!!!!!!

Tracy my best moon shots happen when there is still a lot of light left in the sky .. my cameras have night settings but they are useless for moon shots .. we all seem to be in a funk over this ? hahaha

I like the Silent Cold Blue one the best. They are all fascinating though. I saw the moon Friday evening. It clouded up so bad yesterday and even rained, first time in over three weeks! These are nice photos. Sorry I haven't been around to visit, busy and all that, but you know I like coming here to get me Garden Joy.

Peace.

Joy, you could market those moon shots. I can see them on Halloween cards.

Hi Joe : ) Please don't apologize !
I am so behind in visiting blogs it is embarrassing .. big sigh !
The moon was amazing last night for mere minutes then it clouded over and that was the end of that adventure .. but .. I will be looking for a tripod now .. I don't want to miss the chance of a really great moon shot !
Take care : )

Eileen girl, now wouldn't that be a perfect outlet of my Halloween creativity ? LOL .. that would be fantastic !

Oh yes, such a moon. My camera would never have been able to handle it, and my husband didn't bother to try, so it's wonderful to see your photos!

The moon looks good in sepia, and, I might steal your blue moon idea.

Beautiful pictures, I thought perhaps you were lucky enough to view more than 1 moon at a time!!! In my dreams, our little planet usually has 2, 3 or more moons. How cool would that be??

Sandy I used "warmfly" on that moon picture it is more subtle than sepia I find .. and YES ! spread the "Blue Moon" around girl it is too gorgeous to keep all to myself ! LOL

Rebecca girl I totally agree ! I would love to see our sky with a variety of moons and stars that are close and bright .. I want to take better pictures at night !!
