Unnaturally GREEN !

A few days ago I did catch some colour in the sky .. I practically had to wring it out with my hands but finally it smiled at me.

Then the comedy team of anonymous crows had a "sit-off" routine they were practicing ?

Then looking at my garden and its unnatural GREEN .. made me wonder what would be the punishment for being this way ... this LONG ?
My little hedge of Provence lavender babied until replanting next year .. if they make it through what ever type of winter that will be smacking us in the face .. soon ?
See ? totally unnatural to have this happening here in the Great White North ..
Frosted Violet heuchera along with Moonshine pulmonaria .. are basking ? in the non-snow environment ??
Now for some blue ... in a collection of shades ...
My first converted plant picture to a plaque technique .. and we are impressed : )

Last .. the smudgy clouds that got together for a coffee and chat yesterday morning .. and yes, clouds do gossip .. I heard them ! wink wink

Love the sky photos. And your picture of a picture is wonderful. I have a lot of printed photos displayed on the walls.

You always have the most gorgeous sunrise photos Joy. I never see colors like that here. That leaf shot is a beauty, don't blame you for framing it up. :)

Hello Tatyana and thank you very much! .. we now have our official first light snow fall so things are looking more "normal" ? haha
Much more to come I'm sure !

Thanks Racquel girl : ) I am so fortunate to have that bit of sky to capture the sunrises .. and if it had not been for such enthusiasm of husband I might not have gotten to the stage of printing out that leaf .. I am so glad we did now .. and I am eying a lot of other pictures ? haha

I love your photo Joy! You did a beautiful job converting it to a plaque!! It's the perfect Canadian symbol:-) All of your sky photos are stunning. It's getting cold here lately...no snow, though. I think we might get some mid-month (that's next week--ack!). I hope you will have a wonderful holiday season and are feeling well these days;-)

Your garden is so pretty. That pulmonaria with the coral bells wonderful! So glad it is staying green for so long. Wouldn't it be nice to have a green Christmas? When all of us in the south wish for a white one?

I'm guessing you are usually white this time of the year...I know squat about snow just love seeing photos of it. Your garden could easily be here the way it looks. You know, I have some buds on my lavender right now...

Hello Jan girl : ) and thank you very much ! We do have a light dusting of the white stuff for now .. much more to come I am sure, because we are Canadians eh ! haha
Hope you are well and looking forward to a great family holiday!

Tina girl I have lived through a few green Christmases .. here in Canada and in Holland .. and it is kind of weird ? I need a little white just for a few days then it can go back to green .. and I hope you get a little touch of it too ... we can share ! ;-)

Darla .. I am coming over right now to .... about those buds on the lavender !! and if you aren't careful I might just send some icy snow your way girl ! hehehehe

Hi Joy,
I love your new blog look and name. Is the background one of your photos? You said you were going to try it, so I didn't know if you did already. I sure like it, and it goes well with all your lovely sky photos.

It's good you got photos of the heucheras and such before they get covered with snow. I got some shots of mine looking like that a few days ago.

Thanks for stopping by my blog. I am behind in my blog reading, too.

Thank you so much Sue : )
No, the background is one from Blogger template still .. I need a little more time to play with things on the template .. takes me a while to get the hang of it but I am determined ? wink wink
This was one long green season before the snow came and we don't have a lot of snow .. I'm sure that will come to though .. as will cabin fever ? LOL
Yup ! I am still trying to gather blogs for my blog roll too : )
