Yes .. I know .. I am missing a couple of months ..
January was almost a no-show ... and December is not done yet .. plus just how many of my sky shots are you willing to look at anyways ? wink wink
I just had nothing at the present time to post about and thought a review of "garden skies" might just be interesting enough to glance at ?
P.S. I don't "shop" my pictures .. so you see the ugly bits and pieces such as my neighbor's flag pole .. wires in the background etc .. they are every day warts and everyone and everything has them .. right ? ;-)

Oh my god, Joy, you will never believe this! I follow your blog and I hadn't seen a new post for about 3 weeks or so. So I thought to myself today "I should send an email and ask Joy why she's stopped writing on her blog" Well, today I discovered (because I finally clicked on an old post) that I had the wrong web address! Har har har... I'm so 'not there' sometimes. Oh well, at least now I have oodles of garden posts to catch up on! Ha ha ha...my brain can be so fried at times...:)

Anyway, beautiful sky photos! I can't wait to look through your other blog posts.

Very beautiful photos, I love the variety of different skies. This was a year for great skies, we get them so rarely, and I noticed many more this year.

I love those - especially the ones with a red tint or glow around the clouds.

Why Kate girl thank you ! .. I am very past due a visit over to YOUR place girl : )

Thank you Bernie .. I have so many sky shots I really have to start loading them on my other blog .. a project when cabin fever hits ! haha

Donna thank you ! .. it was an amazing year .. I find December and January the plain months .. almost nothing that is why they are absent from this post .. just no real colour or interest ? .. fingers crossed for next year though !

Thanks RP : ) .. those are the ones that grab me as well .. but some cloud formations even in that almost black and white setting can be whoppers ? too ! LOL

The sky is endlessly interesting - just look up if you need a touch of beauty and inspiration in your life. A treat to see so many shots at once!

Beautiful!! I think the flag poles and wires make them even more stunning as it just shows the contrast between nature's magic and our own limited abilities...absolutely enjoyable!

Hi Joy. WOW! What gorgeous skywatch shots. The colors and the cloud formations are so beautiful. Are you froze or snowed in up there yet?

Gisela hello there and thank you !
We have been so lucky at this end of the lake not to be totally dumped on by snow .. just dustings for now : )
You are very welcome and I have to visit again soon !

Gail girl thank you very much .. actually I have so many sky pictures it is so hard to choose from it drives me nuts ? haha .. Have wonderful a Christmas yourself with all of your family girl : )

Carol girl .. thank you for letting me know about that .. I have a been scratching my head trying to figure those types of problems out .. and I can't seem to change my font size to a larger setting for some reason .. bugs or gremlins in the system!!
April .. May .. are the beginning of dramatic sky for the year I find .. I should be making notes !LOL

Thank you so much Chris .. The sky does something for me .. like my garden .. it refreshes and excites my soul . sounds corny but when I see a dramatic sky it pushes just the right button .. and then I try to push the right button on the camera ? wink wink

WG : ) thank you so much ! .. I have to admit I wish those wires and poles weren't there .. it is the Libra in me that seeks a more refined impression ? but you are right .. it sets a contrast between nature and humans .. we can't separate them in this setting ;-)

Hello p3chandan : ) and thank you so much ! Some months are a bit more showy than others .. but the sky is the SKY and it demands attention from us all doesn't it ?

AP : ) thank you so much ! I have so many my poor lap top is groaning even with an extra external drive .. i can't stop taking pictures of it .. it is an addiction of sorts ;-)

Lona girl thank you : ) We are so lucky right now .. the freezing ran bypassed us .. the honking huge snow storms bypassed us .. we have a light dusting of snow .. it is a wee bit cold .. butwe have been LUCKY !!! thanks for asking Lona girl wink wink : )

Your sky shots are wonderful Joy! I always enjoy them.

The flag pole and such are part of what makes your piece of the skies unique, and I'm glad you don't crop or edit them out.

Your photos are even more impressive knowing you don't 'shop' them. You have a fantastic eye!

CanadianGardenJoy said...

Hello there Kiki/Victoria .. I almost feel like I am talking to a split personality girl ! haha .. thank you very much : ) and for your note back to me too !

Linda thank you so much : ) .. yes it is hard to let the "warts" show on some of the pictures I take .. but you are right .. it makes them unique to my sky : ) wink wink

Your photos are gorgeous Joy, I didn't see any warts in them at all. :) Beautiful skies in Canada from month to month.

Gorgeous sky pics! Whenever I see a sky like that, makes me think of Psalm 19:1...The heavens declare the glory of God, and the skies proclaim the work of His hands :-)
