Shadow Shot Time for Joe and Carrie

This post is dedicated to Joe, aka Spadoman from Round Circle, who has been having a very rough time in his life right now.
As well as  my friend Carrie from Grow Our Own who is also having an exceptionally difficult time in her life.
My thoughts are with you Joe and Carrie .. wishing all will turn out right, and that you will feel much better VERY soon !
Many times with shadow and light .. some what like our lives .. we see more shadow than light .. but even in shadow there is colour waiting for us to stumble upon .. sometimes it takes a while to see it .. how ever it patiently waits for us .. and we do eventually recognize the beauty that has been there all that time.

The best of light is some times hidden in the darkest of shadow .. but that is the beauty of the beast .
The shadow illuminates the light more brilliantly .. what would light be without shadow ?
When we get over those shadow times in our lives .. we seem to appreciate the light and colour so much more ...
May you have the most beautiful light and colour to your life still waiting to be illuminated for you Joe and Carrie

Not only a silver lining to these clouds .. it contains amazing light to warm our faces.
I almost forgot to mention this is Tracy's meme over at Hey Harriet so wander over there and have a look see at many other pictures portraying the shadow and light.

These exquisite shadow shots are certain to bring joy to Joe and Carrie. Wonderful!

I HAVE A LITTLE SHADOW

I have a little shadow that always follows me;
My shadow is my best friend, as anyone can see.

No matter where my feet go, my shadow’s always there—
Except, of course, at midnight with darkness everywhere!

The shadows fall over us at times, allowing us to more appreciate the sunshine that envelops us which is more often than shadow. A hope we share. Perspective is in order, and the family and friends that send us hope are a wonderful thing...even the dark sky has much color inside. We merely have to look a little more closely...

Beautiful photos and that first shot is especially lovely. One of my favourite quotes (I'm a collector of sorts) is by Ruth E. Renkai "Never fear the shadows. They simply mean that there's a light somewhere nearby."

Thanks for stopping by my place for a visit and leaving such a sweet note. Feel free to drop by any time.

Blessings,
Carolynn

So so pretty. And the 'drama' of the colors and shadings is just outstanding.

The sentiments in your commentary are as lovely as the photos that you captured. As you have said there is much light to discover within the shadows.

Those are amazing shots Joy, some for the new office when it materializes?

The last one, almost feels like the surf of the ocean, the way the clouds are scattered.

Thought I would tell you, in my upcoming post, I am using WARM FLY on all three pics as a tribute to YOU!!

I do so much like the title warmfly better then whatever silly name they decided to call it. Honestly.

Look for it Tuesday. Take good care of yourself.

Hi Joy Dear, Sorry I've been away so long. I hope your friends are feeling better soon. I love your comparison analogy of light/shadow and good/bad times in our lives. Very true. Also you always have THE BEST header/banner shots. Gorgeous! Big hugs!

I want to thank you guys again for leaving such wonderful comments for me .. I would answer each one individually like I always do but I am not in great shape right now .. all day in emergency knocked the stuffing out of me (per chance a reference to American Thanksgiving ? wink wink .. at least my humor is still intact ?
Again thanks guys !!
