Shadow Shot for New Year's Eve

Soon I will be packing these cute decorations away .. but I thought it would be a bit festive to have them smile at you one more time for the last day of 2011 .. plus the shadow cast by this holiday tree is pretty darn good !
Now you have to take a trip over to Gemma's place and have a wee gander at other shadow shooters doing their last bit for 2011 as well !

Great shadow of a cute tree. Christmas has all been packed away at my house. There are still some wintery snow people decorating the mantle. I've got some sucky shadows this week.

The Christmas season is bright with red Santas and, stars and trees. A colorful end of the year - I like the brilliant look, but alas we get to face the rest of the gray and white winter without our colorful Christmas look after we pack them all away...Happily, though, we now that much closer to the days of spring planting! Happy New Year!

ahh, the packing up of decorations. I dread it each year. Christmas decorations are so pretty, I wish I could keep them up year round. (sparkly things always make me smile)

Thank you for letting us have one last glimpse of the decorations and their shadows! I told my husband that I want to keep my little trees up a week or so longer. I'll take off the decorations, but leave the trees. I'm already having seperation anxiety!! Happy New Year!!

Love your red Christmas tree and its swirly shadow. It reminds me of Dr. Seuss--in a good way.
