Friday Sky Theme Plus Nonsense

A very subtle sunrise
I always think of the movie "The Girl with the Pearl Earring" and Johannes Vermeer's description of just how many colours there are in clouds .. when we pay attention to them.
My temporary office .. until I finally GET a real one .. hopefully this year ?
The "girls" don't care .. they sleep where ever they want ?
It is a given that Emma will go where there is "heat" as in baseboard heater .. so will Sophie .. it depends on who gets there first !
This is a dog bed .. we thought Emma had Main Coon in her .. but now we think "Siberian" is more likely .. she is a BIG cat !

One more shot of how life SPRINGS forth for the north !

L.O.V.E. those darling doves, Joy. You've captured an enchanting image. We've had a gaggle of doves in our gardens this Winter... or is gaggle a term for geese... tee hee.

I miss having cats - I lost two 16yr old cats, siblings inside of a month of one another. In the interim the nephews wanted a dog...... it just isn't the same! Yours are adorable. The contrasting garden scenes..... I must remember to do a month to month comparison of the bed next to the house this year! Quite fascinating!

The sky does give us a rainbow of color it is just that you have to look for it. You have so much to look forward to in your garden.

The cats sure do look cozy. Ours lays right on top of the heater, no wonder we are always cold.

Hello Lea : )
Thanks very much .. I hope the miracle happens again this year !

Carolyn girl thank you so much : )
We love the doves .. they are so darn sweet .. quiet and peaceful .. love having them in our garden !

Barry .. my heart goes out to you with that loss. That is gut wrenching to lose them like that. Dogs are nice .. but cat people NEED cats .. so I understand how you feel with that.
Yes ! try and keep a photographic record because it really is astounding what and how it all happens !

Lisa girl I am trying to get my plans down on paper so I don't panic .. I have some major events I want to accomplish and the excitement is welling up in me : )

Cat girl thank you ! Emma is about 16 pounds .. a little big our vet says .. but hey! she is a BIG cat you can see her characteristics of Main Coon and Siberian !
Sophie is chubby love on paws .. but she isn't too chubby .. she is just right : )

Linda girl you made me laugh ! haha You better claim your heaters again or the cats will not listen to you ! LOL

Darla girl thank you ! Darn , now that you have seen your chairs .. you might want them back ? haha
Yup .. gardening .. can't wait !!

Gracie the girls have a fan club ? LOL .. yes .. the drama that happens from winter to late Spring /summer is amazing .. if I didn't have the pictures I wouldn't be able to even explain what happens ! LOL
