Friday Skies & "Mr. Chips"

Finally some drama in the sky this morning .. I guess I was more demanding than I should be because the weather has been outragously fantastic .. there has to be something wrong .. but I will try not to think of the Mayan calendar ending in December .. I am going to enjoy my garden and throw my cares out the window !
Now for some SKY !

Yesterday was a banner day in yet again .. weather beyond weather .. but something special happened that really made us all smile big time .. Mr. Chips showed up for the "all you can eat seed buffet"
We don't know if this little guy is the original Mr. Chips .. but hey .. we can always hope , right ?

I love a red sky. Great photos. We don't have a Mr. Chips but we do have a pair of red squirrels. Not the same thing I am sure.

Hello Joy, this might make you feel better, but I don't remember where I was reading it...the Mayan Calendar is out of date, yes, it was supposed to end last November 12th or something...apparently we miscalculated the dates, and didn't add on for leap years or something.

So now you can go and shoot sunrises, and sunsets beautifully like you do, and rest easy..

Hi Joy! Wow! What a glorious sky you had in the morning. I love how the clouds are all glowing in pink tones and then the clearing in the middle. Mr. Chips is sure filling his cheeks up with birdseed. I hope he is not storing up for bad weather. LOL! Your new boots look good girl. Have a terrific weekend.

Oh such beautiful skies. Sounds like we may get a shower. I hope it will be a slow one.
Love that Mr Chips. I had a pair in N.C. & I loved to watch them. I could always tell where they were by the rustling of the leaves.

Hello there Patty ! and thank you : ) We really love Mr. Chips , he doesn't do any harm that we know of .. and he is such a sweet little creature .. we don't have red squirrels here .. just black or gray or brownish ones .. so far?

Hello Lisa girl .. I was lucky to catch it this morning : )
Mr. Chips is a cutie pie !

Jen girl .. I have my suspicions about the whole Mayan thing as it is ? LOL .. those survivalists are being taken to the cleaners .. and why stick around when the earth would be totalled ?? LOL
I feel much better now Jen .. thanks ! ;-)

Lona girl thanks : ) Yup! I wondered about that too .. all of the sudden Mr. Chips shows up and hoarding the seeds .. might be an omen ? LOL Have a great weekend too girl !

Hello Karen girl : ) Yes ! the weather has completely thrown all of us off here hasn't it ? Too good too soon !! LOL

Lola girl I don't know what it is about chipmunks but they make you love them don't they ? How could you not love that sweet little face! .. We could use some rain here now with all of the sunny "hot" weather .. bring it on !

A beautiful pink sunrise, just like you like it! I'm sure Mr. Chips is cute, but get him out of your garden before he eats it up!
