Fast Track Post

I am in a bit of a pickle here ( I never get to say that , now it makes me laugh .. so humor is a GOOD thing right now !) .. I have been in and out and in and out of ER .. now it is the mission of trying to get in to see my GP which means getting past certain ROTTWEILERS who think they are receptionists with their mission in life that is to STOP people from coming in to the clinic ...
What can I say ?? only that it would be pure justice to have them suffer the problems such as mine, and go through what they make us go through ?
But hey .. it could always be worse right ?
So for now, just some pictures of the garden and a visitor that is very quiet and shy.
These pictures were after the rain so they look dark .... is nature working against me too ?  wink wink

This is only a very young bunny .. I dread giving it a name for worry of something happening to it .. I think it lives under the shed or the deck .. his/her mom used to visit but I wonder what has happened to her since we haven't seen her in a very long time ...
Life is so darn short ... isn't it ?

I know what you mean about receptionists! Seems I am always in a battle with the one at my GP's office. Hope you feel better soon!

Joy, I think that the rabbit has grown, he looks for food. And how are your cats belong to a new visitor?
Take care of your flowers!

Your garden looks beautiful in low light. Take care of yourself. This is not the time of year you want to be ill. Think positive, then believe.

You have a very beautiful blog. I adore the bunny photos. Couldn't possibly pass your blog by when I was preparing this week's "Monday mingle" of blog links about gardening and kitty cats.
Hoping you feel better soon.

I sure hope you are feeling better soon! The shots of the rabbit are great especially catching him munching on your brunnera.

Your garden looks spectacular with everything so neat.

Saddened to hear of your health issues and the run around that you are suffering at the ER! This seems the way of health care in Canada these days, and to think one day we had something to be very proud of. I don't know if I would be aiming a camera were I to see a bunny in the garden! My dread is a four legged critter discovering the smorgasbord of rare and unusual tasty morsels that I call my garden! [Not that I would really do anything aside of yell at one were I to see one!]

Hi Joy, I hope you are doing okay. The photos are gorgeous, and your garden looks amazing already. I can only imagine how incredible it'll be in another month. That baby rabbit is adorable. As for its mother, rabbit mothers leave the burrow almost immediately after giving birth, and only stop by for a few minutes daily to feed their young. In less than a month, the little ones are left to fend for themselves. Sounds a bit harsh, doesn't it? But considering that the rabbit population in Kingston is doing rather well, I guess it all works out okay in the end.

Barry sweetie : )
You gave me a great laugh about you yelling .. I imagine you "yelling" ... "Sweet jesus don't you know what you are feasting on ?!!!!" hahaha
And then a line of really interesting language would follow .. too funny: )
Thanks !!

Martha girl .. I hobbled around this morning and made so many mental notes on what has to be cut back and under control again .. it isn't funny .. the garden is exploding to the scary point .. I had no idea rabbit parents did that! .. but as you say .. there are lots around so they survive some how .. I would not be as kind if it were the dreaded beast of a raccoon!!

Joy, so sorry to hear that you haven't been well. hang in there and take care. That bunny is so darn cute but frankly I think I would be yelling 'stay the h&*$ away from my brunnera!'
p.s. I just made my order from Canning and can't wait to see flowers in the mail!

Marguerite girl !
My bunny isn't eating the brunnera .. I have watched him a lot and his favorite seems to be Labrador violets .. and they grow like weeds .. so that isn't a worry for me .. I have my fingers crossed for your Canning order !!! Let me know !!

Joy, I'm sending healthy vibes your way!! Feel that? It may have bounced on your cheek. :)

Love your resident bunny and would have to give him a name and a patch of clover in the lawn to nibble on.

As always, when I see your combination of textures and colours, I think of a tapestry. You have a real gift for it, lucky lady! Take care! :):)

Ms S girl you are so very sweet .. thank you ! : )
We do have some clover in what is left of the lawn so this little furry soul is well fed indeed ! LOL
Thank you so much for the compliments on my garden .. it is driving me bonkers not being out there to putter and commune with my patch of Eden ...
But all my gardening friends know that : ) Thanks again girl !!

She's so cute!!! I think it's wonderful that you're letting Miss Bunny stay. She's (I'm sure it's a girl) is so lucky to have you.

Some gardeners would get all pissed off but not my Joy Girl! This is why I love you. You're so kind to the animal kingdom. (Except raccoons of course.)

When my kids were young there was a bitchy receptionist at the doctor's office I took them to. I just dreaded having to deal with her. Years later, I met a gal who worked in the same office. I asked her if that bitchy receptionist was still there and she said no. Then she kind of shivered and said that they had gotten rid of her. I then told her how she used to bother me and she said that everyone felt that way. Sad, isn't it? The poor woman probably had personal problems and didn't know how to relate to people. Anyway, I hope you have friendly receptionists. :)

Rebecca thank you so much .. I find it so hard to relax and just look at my garden when I see so many little jobs to do .. a gardener can NOT seem to "sit" and admire very long at all?

Gracie girl I can't imagine a gardener .. doing that with a bunny .. I just love seeing her .. and john does too .. we sit on the deck at times and so love listening to our little water fountain bird bath .. the birds .. and what not .. they all are such gifts to enjoy. It sounds sappy .. but it is so true !
