Shadow Shot Time

Finally some sharp shadow shots proving that the sun does come out "tomorrow" ? .. corny !
I grabbed this shot earlier this week knowing that the clouds were rolling in and the shadows would evaporate once more .. but .. more shadow shooters have lots of shadows to display, so visit the icon that leads the way!

Joy, I love the little fuzzball shadows, at first I thought oh...papyrus and then I realized it's still too cold for that. It must be pine needles.

Great shot.

What I find most interesting are the shadows from the things we can't see in the photo.

Hope you get more sunshine soon. :)

I do love your "wispy" shadow shot for the day and I do SO understand not having any sun, let alone shadows! It's been that way for nearly a week here in Seattle!! Supposed to see some for the weekend, but who knows???? Hope you have a great weekend and some sun as well!

Nobody knows how long the shadows may be around during this day - none are guaranteed. Therefore, the intrepid shadow huntress must be vigilant and bag them whenever possible. As usual, your lovely shadows of flora and their surrounding areaa are great!

Hi Joy, I am curious as to what was casting the more regular shaped shadow in your shot?
What a lovely day we had, eh? Sunny, but not to hot or humid. I was out in the garden removing lily of the valley and goutweed. I have the sore back and the grey hairs to prove it too. Man those are two terrible spreaders!! The previous gardener introduced them and I have been trying to win a war against them ever since we moved in! I love to tell you that I am winning, but I'm not!
P.S. Love the socks! What a sweetheart to make them for you and send them all the way from Germany.

A very nice shot. The longest reminds me of a woman holding up something so she can see it better.

Joy and Shadow, have a blessed Sunday!

ahh, nice to see some lovely sunshine. We had a bit the last couple days but it has swiftly departed with cold and rain. Seems the only days I have available in the garden have poor weather these days? Summer is quickly sneaking up on us so I guess I'll just have to press on no matter the weather.

Great diverse collection of shadows.
So many times the shadows prove more interesting than the objects themselves.
Cheers,

your shadow shots are very pictorial.
I liked your violets. Mine are very small now, but have buds.
