Monday's Cool Flower

I would have saved this for my meme of Shadow Shot but since a small miracle of good soaking rain yesterday and today amazing relief from heat and humidity (short lived but so wonderful!!) ..
I wanted to post a picture of cool, soothing white with a plain dark background so it can really shine.
Sometimes the most simple composition can convey the message straight to the point.
Thank you mom nature for a break and I really appreciate it .. as I know my garden does too!

I only wish it had rained more, an hour or so just wasn't enough. But how wonderful to open the windows this morning and feel the cool breeze.

This is a dramatic shot, and its soothing message goes straight to my heart. I have a long journey to make today, and I will carry this image with me both as comfort and talisman. Thank you.

What a beautiful photo Joy. I know the feeling of some much needed rain falling. I have had some here too. Yay... Great photo for celebration.

Hello Linda girl !
This morning isn't too bad either and I see we are supposed to have more rain this week .. if only I could trust the forecasts ? LOL

Safe journey and good luck !

Randy we need a HUGE break from this suffocating weather .. I don't know how you do it down south .. I would be a pool of sweat gasping on the ground ! LOL

Thanks Lisa girl : ) fingers crossed for more to every one of us that needs it !!!

Christine girl hello there !
Thanks you so much .. I have to pop over to your place and see what you have been up to !

Thanks you so much Nadezda .. Little Lamb can look amazing and I will be waiting for it to start changing to a slight pink colour to cut flowers and dry them .. they do look pretty even in that state .. yes a certain weakness ! LOL

Meggie girl !!!!!
No I didn't get that e-mail .. some times we have weird things happen .. my hubby got an e-mail from my UK friend but at least he recognized her name .. if he got yours he would have thought junk mail and dumped it .. can you send it again ?
I am so sorry I missed your birthday girl !! HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY !!!! and wishes for nice sunny weather for YOU .. I wish I could send you our weather !!

That. Is. Gorgeous.
We had "our" rain, too. It made our weed-pulling chore much easier last night :)

I love the white hydrangeas, but Oh! how expensive they are. I saw a couple in the local nursery the other day and they were $25.
Glad you had a little relief from the weather. Our heat wave, 95 degrees for us, has gone, and now we are back down into the 70's whew!

Thank you so much Rebecca!
Now if only we would get just the right amount of rain so we are not dragging the hose around ? LOL
I love how your garden is looking girl !

Jennifer I bought Little Lamb years ago .. it is my first hydrangea and I fell in love with it .. still am LOL ! Yes .. the temps going back and forth in such extremes .. wears the garden out let alone US !
