Crimson Queen Beauty

I never fail to be totally in love with my Japanese maples .. the shock of amazing red they morph into at first warm weeks of Spring and finally those weeks of Autumn.
Crimson Queen was the second Japanese maple I bought on my obsessed spree .. and I am very glad I did.

I love the Jap Maples. Love. The one thing here in Texas that will surefire show fall color. They struggle a little here at first but can acclimate (some better than others....) Beautiful photo!!!!! Well worth the splurge!!

Lovely aren't they ? We have two of them but one seems to be not doing well . We also have the Japanese willows that are so pretty with their mixed pink , white and light green colour and flowers ! Have a good day !

Hi Joy, does your maple still have leaves, the reason I am asking is my little maple, my second baby, lol, hasn't turned yet. I am worried about it and the Ginko, which normally have lost their leaves by this time...they still have them all, and it's going to get cold.

What do you think, are they going to freeze when it gets cold?

I really love the Japanese Maples, too. I love their leaf shape, so delicate. And, of course, the color is splendid! I like them in the Spring, too, don't you? I hope you've had a great day! We finally got some rain, it rained almost all day. And down right cold!

Oh it is beautiful Joy! It is so sad to see the trees all bare now. Everything looks so stark here. LOL! Hopefully winter will go fast. Have a great week Joy!

Hello Darla girl : )
Thank you .. time is helping, it also helps to have such good friends on here.

Hello Kacky and thank you very much .. I thought your butterfly pictures were awesome!

Hello Elaine.. they are gorgeous and I will try to sneak a few more in.
I have one of those willows too and they are beautiful!

Hello Linda girl .. I always wait for their brilliant colour come Autumn .. but some times they lose their leaves a lot faster than other years. Drats!

Hello Jen girl .. they will go through a normal cycle with the winter freeze. Sometimes when they are very protected from the elements they hold on to their leaves a lot longer .. our Pacific Sunset Maple does that .. must be the last tree in the neighborhood that loses its leaves .. don't worry girl ! They will be fine!

Hello Leslie girl and yes! there are so many traits that maples have that make us love them .. we haven't had rain in a while but I think it is coming soon !

Yes Lona girl it is going to be a stark (long) winter but we can always wish it away sooner! I vote for THAT !
