A Winter Hedgehog

At first it is shy and just peeks out at you against the frost diamonds on the railing ...........
Then the little quills stand straight up and say hello ?
The secretive Canadian "Austrian Pine" hedgehog is finally captured full on with it's distinctive and distractive? clump of snow covering it's inner surfaces as a disguise !

Good grief .. cabin fever is in full swing and I am hanging off the rafters doing a post like this ??
EEEEEEEEEEEEEKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK  !!!!!!!!

Too cute Joy... great shots, especially the close up with the rail, it almost looks like water behind... Cheers~

Cabin fever indeed! You are now starting to see things... May I suggest a vacaton to the tropics for a week or so.
Cute little hedgehog!

Well at least you are out there getting some shots, even if it is just through the doorway.

Sunshine...what's that like?

LOL ! That was cute and funny ! Lovely photos ! I know we tend to loose our marbles this time of year with the weather and being cooped up ! I on the other hand get out for a walk with Miggs or get out and take photos so I don't develop cabin fever ! I bundle up on cold days and just get the heck out of the house it makes a big difference for me even if it is for an hour or just half an hour every day ! Have a good day !

Very imaginative. I love the diamonds. :)You need to take a walk. Then that cabin won't seem so boring.

I did get out today but have to admit I couldn't wait to get home.

Lisa girl .. I did get out and do some walking but mostly trying to avoid people in the store .. dodge ball but people instead ? haha

I would like to jump out in the garden and around the house, but ---

You know I nearly saved a hedgehog this week, it was at the city shelter, but it wen't to a rescue which was best. The last thing I need is a nocturnal pet running around.
Good luck with the cabin fever.

I grew up with hedgehogs in the yard in Scotland, it was great! The figs are growing, sapote and loquats have set fruit too, citrus, stone fruit and apples are in bloom.
