Shadow Shot Time

This is one of my most favorite shadow shots of the winter .....
I am weary of cats in my back garden because we feed the birds .. but how can I deny how perfect this scenario is with tiny paw prints and shadows from my lavender plus the ridges of the patio bricks.
I love the mix of all these elements.
To see many more "mixes" and "elements" of shadows click on the SSS Icon to the right and take a trip around the world that will broaden your horizons and put a smile on your face today : )

Reminds me of the Sanburg poem, "The fog comes in on little cat feet" except of course it's snow.

That is a fabulous shadow shot.
There is a neighbour cat that comes into our yard and stalks the birds. We are always chasing it off.

Yes, interesting, I like the composition you've created with these shadows and footprints in the snow.

Well, a cat's gotta do what he/she has to do. Unfortunately, birds are often on their t-do list. Our cat never goes outside - although all the footprints in the snow suggest that other felines do...Linus acts so brave when he squawks at the interlopers while stationed behind a window:)

I, too, like the paw prints, although I despise what cats do to birds when they catch them!
