Time has flown by yet again .... it landed smack into shadow land, and luckily I have a shot to show how we are slipping into the next season ... winter ... BIG sigh !

Even as they fade, the mums--and their shadows--are glorious!

I wish the fall colours lasted longer, but alas they are gone. That is a nice shadow shot and does speak winter is arriving soon. But today is a glorious day ... been outside, doing some raking and some arranging of a winter vigette by the front door. It seems a bit early to do it but I'd sooner take advantage of the weather than wait a week or so till it is blustery and cold.

Lovely trellis of shadow patterns on a beautifully textured wall.

Bright spots seem like
bulgy parts of something, Joy! What a play of light and shadow.

The sunlight certainly makes an interesting pattern. Looks like you have been busy planting bulbs. Just when I thought that I was done, I got a number of packages of bulbs for $1 each. Now I am going to pay for my bargain with frozen fingers!
