Shadow Shot Time

My winter shadows are in jail ... we have had storm after storm here ... and Spring is so far away I can't even imagine what it will be like.
This is also my first shadow shot for 2014 because I have been diverted by the constant "reno" mode the house has been in.
If you have ever gone through renos on your house you know exactly what I am talking about !
For now ... cold winter shadows through the deck railing .. in jail, like I am with winter !
Don't forget to click on the shadow shot link to see shadows from all over the world !

Lovely network of shadow lines behind the "prison walls". Yes. Reno's can be frustrating and time consuming, but o the joy - and relief - when they are done. Then you can bask in your glory.

Lovely patterns in this shot

I do understand the issues in renovations as our kitchen was redone in 2005: The drawings were wrong, nothing fits and the dishwasher was delivered broken. I and millions can attest to the joys (?) of interior mods :)

At least this weeks shadows were built well and on time!

Hello Gemma and thank you : )
You are right ... when they are finally done it is such a relief .. and you swear "never again" ? haha

Thank you Catherine !

Dear Ralph .. isn't it too funny how we think renos will go at the beginning and how they actually end up? haha

Hello Beverley girl .. aren't we all sick of the snow thing eh?
Spring is a long way off ... groan!

Hello sweet friend. I've been MIA from visiting my fave blogs... doing our own "reno" here. Taking this morning to catch up a bit. Stay warm!

It's a wonder you posted at all - renos (while terrific when done) are exhausting.....I remember the kitchen reno and the 5 sinks....wrong size; bent, twisted; dented; giant scratch; and finally the right one. My renovator - a gentle fellow from Vietnam said to me in a very heavy accent (Change the Ls to Rs) "You really aren't a very lucky lady." Even the delivery man knew all the renovators by their first names. The kitchen, 7 years on is fabulous and I love it. Sending good thoughts your way. Barbara

I'm grateful it isn't as cold here as it is in some places or as hot as it is in others. Winter has been relatively mild in NH this year.

Hello Carolyn girl !
Are you in "jail" too with renos and SNOW ? LOL .. I haven't been visiting blogs either with all that is going on .. the last big push is the shower downstairs .. it will be the 4th one maybe this time it will NOT leak? LOL Dreaming of Spring!

OMG ! Barbara girl, you are too funny : ) .. we have had that kind of luck with showers in our second bathroom .. the final rip out comes on the 17th and by god this one better NOT leak for all of our sakes!! haha The kitchen reno is finished and it does look wonderful .. now I hear your cute contractor's little voice saying that! LOL Thanks girl : )

Hello Laura, it sounds like you are in the "just right" section from Goldilocks? haha .. hopefully we start to climb back up the mountain to Spring soon !

It was sunny today and there was the faintest hint of warmth. It made me feel just a little bit hopeful!
