Royal Heritage came via mail from Canning Perennials and I was so happy to see such a good large section for me to plant next to my lonely Orientalis (any further name to my one and only, is a mystery to me sadly). So this is the new kid in the bed and I'm thinking it is going to be a stunner next to my not so "only" any more !
Looks perky and happy already, right ?
An older kid in a bed is Dr. Ruppel clematis .. one of my first clematis and it has stuck by my side through a lot of nonsense. I appreciate you baby !
I had to add a sparkle of light since today has been a rain day .. dreary .. but the garden can use the rain so I would not deny it's worth !! (rather it rain than see me out there fighting with my water wand .. it isn't a pretty sight seeing a grown woman do what I do with it !!)
A smiley face in the garden with a hat full of campanula .. just that alone would make any piece of drift wood and smiley face happy, wouldn't it ?
Who let the antenna in my garden ? what unearthly creature could be attached to this mystery ?
Ah ha !! It is my heuchera Geisha's Fan .. the colour range is wonderful and it really is a pretty heuchera to have in your collection : )
