Atmosphere of a Leaf ?

I can't help but feel different reactions to the same exact picture but merging it into a different "atmosphere" playing with affects in one of my photo management programs .. Picasa has a filter that I haven't seen used by other garden bloggers .. called "warm fly" if you have , let me know what you think of it ?
I find it exactly that .. "warm".. compared to Sepia .. and yes I know the purpose of Sepia is to give a picture the vintage or aged appearance.
So .. the picture above is in its natural state ...
This is" black & white" ... kind of a cold atmosphere right ?
This is "warm fly" .. it leaves some natural colour in the make up of the picture .. but it seems to me that it truly does "warm" the subject up .. giving the photograph a warm atmosphere .
This last one was purely for fun .. "warm fly" in a gradient filter .. I think because I am trying hard to hold on to Autumn these colours make me feel warm and fuzzy .. OK .. I am fuzzy most of the time but this is a different kind of fuzzy .. as in fuzzy red flannelet  pajamas with penguins skiing .. hum?
OK .. too much information right ? wink wink

Don't you just love all those features that can be used to make photos more realistic or unrealistic?

Very artistic photos, Joy! I'll have to do some playing around with these effects one of these days. I wonder, though, how they came up with the name warm "fly"?? Lovely photos, but the only image in my head right now is of penguins on skis:)

Some pretty neat effects Joy! I like the warm fly the best. I don't post process much, I might have to give it a try!

I like the "warm fly". To me it gives it more character, more natural. I do love to look at leaves.
Your "fuzzy", I'm loopy. lol

I do like it. You know that I am always messing around with filters. You never know when you are going to produce something really nice.

Joy, I was giggling so hard that I had to try twice to go and check Picassa.

Were you trying to go all buggy on us?

It's warmify....LOL. [seriously, but I am teasing you about the typo]

I love that filter, and I will use it many times... but I had to think, what is warm fly?

I use color temperature under Tuning a lot also. The levels can be adjusted easier....

Got to go and get the fly swatter out right now.

Hi Joy, You have used light very nicely in your leaf shot. It is great fun to play with images isn't it? It turns a plain image into art. I use Photoshop to create textural effects. It is not as hard as you might think and is purely addictive!

Woooo...I like that, Joy! I've never seen that filter. It is quite nice. (Your original photo was very lovely too, though!! - great light!) :)

Although I have Picasa on my computer I really haven't played with it much, only use it for the collages. Had no idea it had these functions. I'm working on a new post and realized, you didn't see my sky post! come on over before it rolls on down the page, the sunset from last week is the last picture of the set.

Interesting how the same is so different. Your bunny visitor is sooooo darn cute! The Wags to Witches Fur Ball I attended in TN was themed "Hollywood Horror" The volunteers did a great job of remembering the old great classic Horror films.... I hope you did not miss my Post on that one....

I know how you enjoy Halloween and I thought that maybe you missed my post. Am glad I reminded you as your words brought a smile to my face. I hope you are feeling better soon :-)
