My Sky

This sky and wonderfully detailed tree, happened a few days ago from my front garden view.
The weather has been so crazy that I can not count on any sky drama to capture actually since this was taken. I do have to say I did catch a glimpse of the almost full very bright moon last night .. it was beautiful .. but at the stage that it was too bright for a detailed shot with the camera I have right now .. hopefully next year will be my DSLR year ??  wink wink  ... fingers CROSSED !!

What a promising sky. It looks like the cold front is moving on. Hasn't the moon been beautiful?.

I love the little layer of pink! We have a fine dusting of snow this morning, are you getting any up you way?

Joy, those evening shots of the sky are so hard, I sympathize. Last night we had a heck of a storm blowing through and the sky was amazing. Bright moon, dark clouds but I haven't the faintest idea of how to capture that on camera.

I too saw the beautiful moon and the sky was filled with storm clouds. Nice sky capture with the clouds rolling in.

Hello there Lisa girl : )
It is cold and clear here this morning .. I really enjoyed your story of how your name came to be and the before and after pictures were wonderful !

Karen girl your Skywatch picture was totally awesome ! Now that is my kind of sky to capture .. I am afraid my skies are very boring lately ;-(

Marguerite girl .. I think we both have to upgrade to a DSRL to capture those night shots .. but we are both on budgets eh ? LOL
I am still giggling over the tar story .. you really made me laugh with mental pictures of your cat on your head ! hahaha

Thank you Donna girl : )
