Golden Spirit Smokebush

I was wondering about Golden Spirit reverting back to the plain Jane green, but I think it was heat and drought stress that twisted its knickers a bit .. with a little more attention .. meaning I managed to drag the hose further down the border and flipped it some water .. the gold is coming back .. I know it is going to look absolutely gorgeous against the Royal Purple one .. I have managed to dot purple and gold through out the garden and it is really coming into its own as these palnts mature.
