Moving on quickly ! ... False Blue Indigo seed pod .. cocoon from another world ! if you look very hard at the upper left hand corner you can just make out a tiny string of silk from a spider web .. now that is "fine" detail !

OK ... not so nice a picture with the contrast of a "fresh" rudbeckia and a not so fresh one .. but you have to admit they serve as perfect foils to one and other .. also ravaged by this one hot dry summer and once again the lady with the water wand , not so hot and bothered with her responsibility .. sigh !
