Poppies Peeking Through

Underneath the layer of dead leaves, bits of green still struggle through .. these are oriental poppies .. some older .. the beautiful red ones .. some younger .. this year I tried to encourage a better, fuller patch of poppies to enjoy watching unfold in the Spring.
