Staghorn Sumac

I took these pictures a few days ago .. this fruit of the Staghorn Sumac just seemed to be so stubborn about staying intact and staying put on the branch. After all the wicked weather we have had it is amazing. One year our neighbors "portable plastic" garage was lifted up and thrown over our fence .. it really beat up the sumac .. but this is one tough as boots," tree ? can be shrub" .. the colours in the Autumn are just beautiful. A must have in my garden .. it is my Halloween Tree !
