Ok .. it is one of those days .....

Ok .. this might not put me in the best light .. literally and figuratively .. looks like I'm a snoopy neighbor .. but I think Connie already knows I am a head case when I go out in my pajamas to take garden pictures .. this wouldn't surprise her at all. Plus my partner in crime (hubby) was the one that pointed out the "slipping snow blanket" on Connie's metal roof.
It wouldn't be the first time we jump when hearing a sudden CRASH of snow from her roof .. I really think the whole affair has turned me off metal roofs even though they are supposed to be quite good .. having the slipping iceberg, awaiting the best possible time to clobber us, is a little too edgy for me ..
Now you have to ignore my dirty kitchen window (I really meant to clean that before the picture taking thing happened .. yes .. STOP snorting giggling and all that ) .. and you have to look carefully down our ally way, to see the snow blanket hanging in mid air .. put your glasses on, or magnifying thingy .. note to self .. get one of those things .. glasses are not good enough !
Now the next thing I'm asking .. if anyone from Botanical drops by .. could you refresh my memory on how to "pick up" a favorite blog ? .. just about everyone of my functioning brain cells leaked out of my ears last night, and I am in full DUH mode this morning .. do you know how embarrassing this is to admit? especially to a new member ? BIG sigh ...........................
CJ .... don't read the above sentence ... I swear I know what I'm doing ... 3 out of 17 times ratio ? JEEZ !!!!!
Photo credit for last 2 pictures goes to hubby .. I refuse to flash, my neon night wear today !

I'm rolling on the floor with laughter!!! I have a metal roof carefully designed so that it "clears" itself away from where I normally go up & down the steps. However, yesterday I heard a really weird noise so I ran to my back door and threw it open (we never use this door in winter) when I looked up I saw a sheet of heavy ice and snow hanging over my head. I pulled my head back inside (comically fast) and gently closed the door. It cleared itself within twenty minutes...Yes I jumped!

Hello there, it's me from down the highway from you and also from Blotancial. If you click the Popular tab at Blotanical, it will show you a list of blogs most visited this week. If you are logged in, you will see 3 little buttons by each blog ... Visit Blog, Favourites, Owner's Plot. Click Favourites and presto it has been added. Give it a try and see if it works. Don't feel bad for forgetting as I did as well at first.

I've always liked the idea of a metal roof, but didn't know that they had this bad habit. Watch out!

I think they have designed other metal ones so they don't do this .. which not only saves the sanity of the actual home owner, but their neighbors as well ! haha
