March 1st Morning

Well, the pictures say a lot about morning here in Kingston. Even though I am well fed up on the snow situation .. I couldn't help but admire what a quiet calm there was (at least at 6:30 AM ) .. now there is the constant hum of snow blowers .. and sun is actually peeking out here and there .. melting the glorious white stuff ..

Lovely, lacy patterns! At this very moment, we're getting another dusting here, in New England. Enough already with the snow. Bring on spring! I'm enjoying your sense of humor and the variety of topics. And that Sophie is one cute cat! ...Deb

Snow looks so pretty in your garden. I am jealous, we hardly ever get snow. Another one of those can't alway get what you want situations.

You may be fed up of snow Joy, but we've had not 1 flake here this winter. That may sound good, but I believe you need a good dose of winter to get rid of all the plant nasties...

Hi VP
We do understand what no snow means .. drought conditions and loosing a lot of plants due to extreme cold shock with no cover of snow .. I just think breaking all these records for snow fall is ENOUGH NOW !!! LOL
It does miracles for ground water levels, not to mention our "land of a thousand lakes" ! : )

Hi Debbie
It really is true .. most days no one is happy with what ever we get .. and everyone talks about it nonstop ? haha

In the allotment garden today I was complaining that it was chilly when the sun went in. Now I feel slightly embarrassed having seen your snowy pics.

Hi easygardener
That is a cute name ! .. Hey .. you better think twice or I will send you snow for sure ! LOL
It is slowly melting now .. but this is going to take a long time for Spring to peek in on us !

Hi Joy- I can certainly understand your being tired of all the snow. However, being in Florida means we NEVER get to see it-- so to me it is magical and mystical. Your photos display a wonderful capture of your world.

Hi Meems
I think we were spoiled (in a not so good way) with a few winters with very little snow . The ground and lake water levels suffered. So I do appreciate the snow for topping that up .. I just wish Spring would hurry up ? LOL
Thanks for stopping by !

Now that is proper snow! Not like our fly-by-night stuff.

Although I do miss the snows of my childhood where it stuck around at least long enough to get the sledge out and build a snowman.

Hi urbanbumkin : )
I almost said "urbanpumkin" LOL
... things always seem better in our childhood but the weather really swings back and forth .. this seems like one LONG winter to me this year ... I could do with your weather for a while !
