This is bouncing freezing rain .....
Another day that I am grateful NOT to have a metal roof ... the sound of the freezing rain is enough on the windows to squinch my ears up as it is .... bounce .... bounce ... bounce ... where did I put that ice wine brandy ?????????

The constant pinging of the ice on the windows made us shut all the curtains earlier than usual. That shut out the view but it didn't shut out the sounds. Just listening to the pings sends chills down my spine.

This is a bit annoying .. but the worst was the HAIL STONES last June ... I was sure the windows were going to break ... that really scared me .
