Another staple in my garden is Lady's Mantle. I have always been drawn in by the way water becomes like beautiful, magnified glass on its leaves .. I love the light airy flower stalks as well .. it puts up with a lot of abuse and neglect and I truly appreciate these plants ... can you have a garden without them ?

That is really pretty! I planted some of this last year but I never noticed the water on the leaves. I'll look for that this summer.
Joy, I've always had, and loved them. They're on my list for here too, just haven't gotten to them yet. This might be the year!
Hey garden girl .. you have been doing so much as it is ! you have your hands full : ) .. literally ? LOL
Yes .. they may be old fashioned but they are wonderful !
Hi Gina .. yes .. the water affect is beautiful .. it is because the leaves have a "downy" quality and it holds water droplets up .. the affect is gorgeous ! have a look after some rain or when you have watered : )
I love Lady's Mantle, but it reseeds rampantly in my garden. I'm constantly having to rip out the seedlings.
Giddy ... I guess I have been lucky .. or they realize I have no extra space ? .. no reseeding anywhere .. but yes, that is a chore .. ripping out seedlings .. just those darn "Maple keys" driving me nuts .. from OTHER peoples trees that fly in here .. jeez !
nancy .. isn't that an eye catcher ? .. I love the affect !
